Terrorist lawyer Lynne Stewart finally ordered to prison four years after her conviction

On Tuesday, the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan ordered convicted criminal defense attorney Lynne Stewart to begin her prison sentence, as the court upheld her 2005 conviction for aiding imprisoned terrorist Omar Abdel-Rahman.

Despite the conviction for such a serious crime, Stewart had been allowed to remain free for the last four years, while her appeal was pending. During that time, she made speeches and numerous public appearances in which she often thumbed her nose at the country she betrayed, while describing terrorists as “liberationists.“

On February 10, 2005, Lynne Stewart was found guilty of conspiracy, providing material support to terrorists and defrauding the federal government. Stewart was contacting al-Gamma'a al-Islamiyya (The Islamic Group) on behalf of Abdel-Rahman. In addition to master-minding the 1993 plot to bomb the World Trade Center which killed six people and left more than 1,000 injured, the blind sheik was convicted of planning to destroy other New York City targets including the Lincoln and Holland tunnels, the United Nations building, and the George Washington bridge. The Islamic Group dubbed the multiple target attack plan "The Day of Terror."

Stewart was caught passing messages between her client Omar Abdel-Rahman and the Egyptian terrorist group of which he is the leader. Rahman also known as the "blind sheik," was the mastermind behind the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and was also found to be behind a plot to attack other New York City landmarks. Lynne Stewart knowingly aided a convicted terrorist and avowed enemy of the United States during a time of war and deserves to be executed for her crimes.

It was also discovered that Rahman planned to execute Egyptian President Mubarak. In light of Rahman's criminal history and ability to execute attacks on the United States with his henchmen in The Islamic Group, the blind sheik was forbidden to communicate with his followers.

However, Lynne Stewart aided Rahman's communications with his followers and even personally issued decries on his behalf. Stewart had defended Rahman in his 1995 trial and continued to visit Rahman in prison. Apparently at some point, Stewart ended her role as his lawyer and began one as his co-conspirator.

On her many visits, Stewart only pretended to discuss Rahman's case with him. In fact, he was actually discussing with his interpreter (Mohammed Yousry) how the cease-fire between his terrorist organization and the government of Egypt should be broken. Under the guise of giving legal counsel, Stewart helped pass along a fatwah from Rahman to his followers which commanded: "brother scholars everywhere in the Muslim world to do their part and issue a unanimous fatwah that urges the Muslim nations to fight the Jews and to kill them wherever they are."

An FBI affidavit states that during Rahman's conversations with Mohammed Yousry, Stewart "made random comments out loud for the prison guards to hear in order to conceal the real conversation."

During one particular session, Stewart pretended to take notes and attempted to mislead prison guards by saying: "Yes, the um...I am talking to you about...him going on a, uh chocolate eh...heart attack here." An FBI wiretapped conversation between Stewart, Yousry, and Rahman caught the three conspirators later laughing about Stewart's improvisation. Stewart said that she could "get an award for it, with the blind sheik contributing, "as long as the government is using secret evidence we will use secret doves (referring to Stewart)."

On June 14, 2000, Stewart even went so far as to issue a press release on behalf of The Islamic Group. She stated that Sheik Abdel-Rahman was "withdrawing his support for the cease-fire that currently exists."

In Rahman's 1995 trial, Stewart argued that issuing the order to destroy the World Trade Center was merely a necessary part of his religious duties as a Muslim leader. After Rahman was sentenced to life in prison plus an additional 65 years, Stewart was seen weeping uncontrollably inside the courtroom.

Federal prosecutors filed court papers which said Stewart's crime was in fact, "egregious, flagrant abuse of her profession, abuse that amounted to material support to a terrorist group, which deserves to be severely punished."

Amazingly, while U.S. District Judge John G. Koeltl said Stewart's actions could have had "potentially lethal consequences" and represented "extraordinarily severe criminal conduct," the Clinton-appointed judge waited until October 2006 to sentence Stewart…A full 20 months after her conviction.

Though Stewart could have received a 30 year sentence under federal guidelines (which the prosecution sought), Judge Koeltl only sentenced her to 28 months. In an insulting move to the victims of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, he has even allowed her to remain free while her appeal is pending.

While 30 years is the maximum sentence Stewart could have received, there is precedence for Stewart's crime to be punished with at least life in prison. In 1947, Hans Max Haupt was tried for and convicted of treason, and sentenced to spend the rest of his life behind bars. Haupt was discovered aiding his son (Herbert Hans Haupt) who was a German spy. The elder Haupt only gave his son a place to stay and bought him a car, though he was fully aware that his son was spying for Nazi Germany.

Lynne Stewart seems to have a particular affinity for murderers and enemies of the state. Over her career, she has defended Black Panther Willie Holder, Weather Underground terrorist Kathy Boudin, Philadelphia cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal, and mafia hit-man Sammy "The Bull" Gravano. Stewart has even expressed a desire to defend Osama bin Laden.

In a 2003 speech to the National Lawyers Guild, Stewart listed Ho Chi Minh, Fidel Castro, and Mao Tse Tung as "heroes."

In 2002, Stewart told reporter Susie Day of Monthly Review: “I don't have any problem with Mao or Stalin or the Vietnamese leaders or certainly Fidel locking up people they see as dangerous. Because so often, dissidence has been used by the greater powers to undermine a people's revolution."

She went on to talk about her client Abdel-Rahman, by saying: "Now, certainly somebody like Sheikh Omar, who was a world figure, someone who was listened to by the entire Muslim population for being a very learned scholar, deserved to have a platform, deserved not to be entombed in the middle of America and not able to speak. They said the Sheikh was responsible for, I dunno, everything except flat feet. They made it sound like a worldwide conspiracy… He's a blind, elderly, sick man. He may be a spiritual head, he may be intellectually involved in [Islamic Group's] struggle [in Egypt]. But he's certainly not a combatant in any sense whatsoever.”

She also described terrorists to Day as “basically forces of national liberation.”
Stewart has also said publicly that she approves of the use of violence as a mean of activism. She made this point clear in a 1995 New York Times interview when she said: “I don't believe in anarchist violence but in directed violence. That would be violence directed at the institutions which perpetuate capitalism, racism, sexism, and at the people who are the appointed guardians of those institutions and accompanied by popular support."

Though she has been disbarred, Stewart has become a regular speaker at several law schools. In 2003, one such event at Oregon’s Portland State University Law School was billed as “Lynne Stewart vs. John Ashcroft." Another engagement at the Arizona State University School of Law was entitled “Emphatically Not Guilty.” A Stanford University speech was canceled by Law School dean Kathleen Sullivan, when she learned of Stewart’s advocacy of violence.

Stewart is certainly not without her admirers. According to the IRS, left-wing activist George Soros gave Stewart a $20,000 donation for her legal defense. In addition to money, Stewart also receives honors. In 2003, the law students at City University of New York voted to honor her with that school’s Public Interest Lawyer of the Year award. However, once news of the award was picked up by the press, the dean thought better of it and rescinded the offer.

Stewart has remained defiant and filled with hatred for the United States. Stewart's official website (www.LynneStewart.org) states that her prosecution is "an obvious attempt by the U.S. government to silence dissent, curtail vigorous defense lawyers and instill fear in those who would fight against the U.S. government's racism.”

In addition to soliciting donations for her legal defense fund, her website also provides a list of public appearances she will be making. Among other events, on March 24, 2009, Stewart is scheduled to be in Colorado, offering her public support for disgraced professor Ward Churchill's trial against the University of Colorado. She also gives details of her life with her longtime boyfriend Ralph, and their cozy adventures at their vacation home in the country.

Stewart is as hypocritical as she is unrepentant. She has said that she approves of Fidel Castro “locking up” dissidents, but complains that the U.S. government has prosecuted her to “silence dissent.” Apparently, imprisonment is fine when communists use it against those who speak out for their freedom, but somehow wrong when it is used by a democratic republic against their enemies.

However, while Stewart seems to relish the role of dissident martyr, she is neither a dissident, nor is she a martyr. She is in fact, a convicted felon who has aided and abetted a terrorist leader and his organization. Period.

It is more than outrageous that Border Patrol Agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean who sat in prison for two years, for shooting a drug smuggler, were not allowed to remain free while their appeals were pending (as is customary for law enforcement officers charged with crimes relating to the performance of their job), though Lynne Stewart who knowingly and willfully gave aid to a terrorist was given that courtesy.

While a lengthy sentence for someone who has colluded with the enemy during a time of war is of course not without precedence, it is also not without precedence that one could be put to death for this crime. Had Lynne Stewart committed her crime during World War II or even the early days of the Cold War, she would have undoubtedly been hanged for her actions.

Stewart however, has been the beneficiary of a federal bench heavy with left-leaning judges and a political climate which now has a great tolerance for what our parents and grandparents knew to be treason.

Every single day which Lynne Stewart was allowed to give speeches, talk to magazines, attend swanky dinners for some leftist cause, and sign autographs for adoring college students was a terrible affront not only to those who were killed and maimed in the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center, but to every man and woman who has ever fought and died for this country.

Now, it appears that Stewart will finally join the many criminals she has so fervently defended.

7-year-old boy murdered in Juarez

On Friday evening, 7-year-old Raul Ramirez Ramirez was shot to death in the street along with his father. Police found 18 spent shell casings near their bodies.

The murdered father and son were killed on a particularly bloody weekend in Juarez. At least 14 murders were discovered in the city over a two day period. Many of the victims were cut to shreds with AK-47s.

Early on Saturday morning, armed assailants abducted two young women from their home, and drove them to the desert where the women, ages 18 and 20, were both shot in the head. Only moments later, their house was set ablaze.

The war currently raging between the Sinaloa and Juarez Cartels has resulted in more than 4,000 murders in Juarez in less than two years.

Despite the presence of 5,000 Mexican troops now patrolling the city, the cartels are killing people at the rate of more than 200 per month.

The situation has become so hopeless that the Juarez business community is asking the United Nations to set up peacekeeping operations in the city.

Ari Gaitanis, spokesman for the U.N. Department of Peacekeeping Operations told the Associated Press: "Obviously, the situations in Haiti and Mexico are very different, but one of our peacekeeping missions [in 2007] in Haiti involved restoring the rule of law in parts of the capital city that criminal gangs controlled.”

Gaitanis continued: "Such a mission has be to be defined, and often involves much more than U.N. peacekeepers helping to patrol streets. These things don't happen overnight. It could be a long or short process."

The proposal for the insertion of U.N. peacekeepers has support on both sides of the border.

El Paso city councilman Beto O'Rourke has welcomed the move in hopes that it will bring much needed national attention to the unabated violence.

O‘Rourke told the El Paso Times: "I think El Paso and Juárez, and I have to say both cities because we are one, have been failed by our leadership.”

O'Rourke added: "You can make the argument that what is happening in Juárez is similar to what is happening in the Gaza Strip or Bosnia. The U.S. has intervened there, but not here. If our leadership is not going to do anything, hopefully the United Nations will."

Soledad Maynez, president of the Ciudad Juárez Association of Maquiladoras, told the AP that her organization has asked the U.N for help because the both the leadership of her city, as well as that of the federal government have thus far failed to curb the incredible violence.

She also had an ominous warning for the U.S.

Maynez said: "We know that sooner or later, the violence will spill over into our sister city of El Paso, Texas.”

In addition to federal troops being dispatched to the city, the entire Juarez police force was fired and a new one hired because of rampant police corruption. However, the cartels continue to run the and murder at will.

Two Chicago Muslim men charged in alleged plot to kill Danish cartoonist

Two weeks ago, terrorist charges were brought against two Chicago Muslims, who were allegedly planning to murder Kurt Westergaard, the man who drew the infamous cartoon which depicted the Muslim prophet Muhammad with a bomb in his turban.

Prosecutors claim that one of the suspects admitted to FBI agents that the pair originally planned to attack the offices of Jyllands-Posten's, the Danish newspaper which originally printed the cartoon, but their plan later changed to simply killing the paper's former cultural editor as well as Westergaard.

The two alleged terrorists, David Coleman Headley, 49, and Tahawwur Hussain Rana, 48, were both charged with plotting to provide material support to a terrorism conspiracy.

Headley who was arrested in Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, was also charged with conspiracy to commit terrorist acts involving murder and maiming outside of the U.S. After his arrest, Headley admitted that he has received training from Lakshar-e-Taiba in Pakistan.

Headley, who in 2006, changed his name from Daood Gilani, has allegedly traveled to Denmark twice this year in order to plan the attack.

The uncovered plot, was only the latest targeting the Danish cartoonist.

In February 2008, Danish police arrested two Tunisian nationals for an alleged plot to strangle Westergaard at his home. While the case was dropped due to lack of evidence, police placed Westergaard and his wife under special protection, moving them about from place to place.

The controversy began in September 2005, when Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten printed a series of cartoons which depicted Muhammad as a bomb-laden terrorist. Of course, radical Muslims sent countless death threats to the cartoonist, and diplomats from ten Muslim nations called upon the Danish government to remove the cartoons. There were also several Western embassies set ablaze in Muslim countries over the controversial images. However, the newspaper refused to give into intimidation and continued running the cartoons.

French newspaper France-Soir as well as German paper Die Welt also ran the cartoons.

France-Soir editors released the following statement: "The publication of 12 cartoons in the Danish press has shocked the Muslim world for whom the representation of Allah and his prophet is banned. But because no religious dogma can impose its vie on a democratic and secular society, France-Soir publishes the incriminated cartoons."

Die Welt editors issued their own statement: "Democracy is the institutionalized form of freedom of expression. There is no right to protection from satire in the West."

Wetergaard has refused to issue any sort of apology for his cartoons.

He recently told a Danish broadcaster: "I realize that when issues of religion are involved emotions run high, and all religions have their symbols, which possess great importance. But when you live in a secularized society, it's clear that religion can't demand some sort of special status. ... "I have a problem with the fact that we have people from another culture who don't accept that we use religious elements in a drawing."

Now for the contrast in civilizations...

In 2006, there was a painting (which looked very much like a cartoon) displayed in New York's National Black Fine Arts Show which blended the images of Jesus Christ and Osama Bin Laden. The work showed an upside down Christ (crown of thorns and all) with Bin Laden's face. The canvas also contains the words: "mujahadin" and "McCarthyism."

The artist responsible for the painting, a rather angry Harlem man, known only as “Tafa,” told WCBS reporter Morry Alter that the piece spoke for itself, and that the blending of Jesus and Bin Laden was purposeful.

There is no doubt that a work which equates Jesus with a bloodthirsty terrorist is extremely offensive to Christians. However, the artist did not received any death threats, nor did the Puck Building receive any bomb threats, and the artist still and the show live on.

The much maligned Christian Coalition did not demonstrate in front of the gallery, nor did Christian clergymen called for Tafa’s death.

The two very different reactions to equally offensive artwork speak volumes to the difference between our two worlds. It is the difference between the savage and the civilized. It is the difference between the 7th century and the 21st century. It is the difference between a culture of death and one of life.

On October 30, illegal aliens Juan Hernandez-Monzalvo, 25, and Richard Morales-Marin, 24, were found guilty by an Orange County, FL jury of kidnapping and sexual battery, along with other charges.

On February 5, 2009, the 11-year-old girl was walking to school when she was grabbed by the two Mexican nationals, who forced her into their car at knifepoint. They drove her to an abandoned house where both men took turns raping her.

Because of the girl’s young age and the severe trauma she has suffered, prosecutors brought a therapy dog into the courtroom to help calm her frayed nerves and allow her to testify against her brutal attackers.

The little girl never looked at her assailants, but locked eyes with the gentle Golden Retriever as he lay close to her, and described the ordeal to the courtroom.

“He grabbed my neck and put a knife to my throat,” she said.

She continued: “He told me to get in the car, I was crying. He told me if I didn’t he’d kill me.”

She said that when the pair was finished with her, they ordered her to put her clothes on and get back into the car. They drove her to another area and fled.

She said: “He told me to get out and they drove off really fast.”

The girl then knocked on doors throughout the neighborhood until finding someone to help her.

Sickeningly, one of the men, Morales-Marin, testified that he thought the little girl was a prostitute and that she went with them willingly. He claimed that he did not realize she was only a child until after he and his cohort had both raped her, when he noticed her small backpack.

Both men face up to life in prison and will be sentenced in January.

One of the rapists, Juan Hernandez-Monzalvo, had actually been previously deported to Mexico, but easily made his way back to Florida. He has been arrested many times for driving without a license.

Both Hernandez-Monzalvo and Morales-Marin are suspected of committing other sexual assaults in the area. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office say that DNA evidence has linked Morales-Marin to a recent rape near a local mall.

The day after the deadliest example of Muslim terrorism to be carried out inside the U.S. since 9/11, President Obama told us not to “jump to conclusions” about the motives of the alleged shooter, in spite of the fact that several eyewitnesses reported that the alleged shooter, Maj. Malik Hasan shouted “Allah Akbar” as he gunned down his fellow soldiers.

On Sunday, in an appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press, U.S. Army Chief of Staff General George Casey Jr. also warned the public of drawing any conclusions about Maj. Hasan, and lamented that “It would be a shame â€" as great a tragedy as this was â€" it would be a shame if our diversity became a casualty as well.”

Most of us have come to expect such politically correct rhetoric from the mainstream press, but when a top military commander is more concerned with sugar coating the threat posed to this nation by radical Muslims than he is with protecting the public or even his own soldiers…It is a sad day indeed.

Despite the cover-ups and the spinning by government officials and the press, we do have radical Muslim terrorists plotting and attacking inside the United States. If we are to survive, we must open our eyes to the facts and stop worrying about who may or may not be offended.

With 86 percent of Americans identifying themselves as Christians, radical Muslims realize that they will never convert us, and as directed by the Quran, many have now decided to kill us. However, you will never hear that painful truth from the mouths of network anchors, nor from our rather spineless politicians.

What follows is a list of uncovered plots and terrorist attacks perpetrated by Muslim radicals on U.S. soil since September 11, 2001:

-In September 2009, a grand jury indicted Afghan national Najibullah Zazi on a charge of conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction. The FBI claims that he was plotting to blow up certain U.S. targets and was in possession of plans for making hydrogen peroxide-based bombs.

Since his arrest, Zazi has admitted to receiving training at a terrorist training camp in Pakistan.

-In September 2009, FBI agents arrested 19-year-old Jordanian national Hosam Maher Husein Smadi Smadi, who claism to be an al Qaeda supporter, after he allegedly parked a van filled with what he thought were explosives outside a high-rise office building in Dallas, TX.

Smadi was taken into custody as soon as he dialed a cellphone which he thought would ignite the fake bomb placed into the vehicle by FBI agents posing as fellow terrorists.

Smadi came to the attention of the FBI through postings he allegedly made on the internet six months earlier.

The following are postings which the FBI claims Smadi made, and presented at Smadi’s araignment:

"We shall attack them in their very own homes. Brother, by God, we shall attack them in a manner that hurts, an attack that shakes the world. Oh Brother, let the backsliders know that the time for their destruction has come."

"I want to destroy ... targets ... everything that helps America on its war on Arabs will be targeted."

"By God who created me, there will not be a retreat at all, even if they take me to Guantánamo for the rest of my life. I will never forget Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, or any land where the call of, 'There is no God but God, Muhammad is God's Messenger' is raised."

"It will shake the currently weak economy in the state and the American nation because this bank is one of the largest banks in this city."

"Millions of people would incur losses: unemployment, poverty, hunger, and a strike to the head of the government. Don't forget the psychological impacts for the loss of this beautiful building. ... Of course, our joy will be in the success of this operation."

-In June 2009, Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad, 23 pulled up outside of an Army-Navy recruiting station in Little Rock, AR, where two soldiers were taking a cigarette break, and opened fire. Muhammed killed Army Pvt. William Long, 23 and wounded Army Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula, 18.

Police stopped and arrested Muhammad only 15 minutes after the deadly shooting. They found several guns in Muhammad’s vehicle, in addition to the one he used to allegedly murder Pvt. Long.

Prosecutor Larry Jegley said: “If there had been more recruits out there at the time, he would have killed more of them, or tried to. It's my understanding that after his conversion to Islam he decided that he had a bone to pick with the military officers because of what he perceived to be mistreatment of Muslims around the world."

Muhammad is an American convert to Islam. The attack on the recruiting station took place during the same week in which Obama traveled to Egypt and made his historic and apologetic speech to the Muslim world.

-In December 2008, five Muslim men were convicted of conspiracy to commit an armed attack at Fort Dix, NJ.

U.S. District Judge Robert Kugler sentenced Mohamad Shnewer, Dritan Duka, Eljvir Duka, and Shain Duka, to life in prison. Only Serdar Tatar, was spared a life sentence, as Judge Kugler ordered him to spend 33 years in prison for the 2007 plot.

Three of the terrorists were illegal aliens who entered this country over the unprotected U.S./Mexican border.

-In August 2008, the body of a Somali-born Muslim man was found in a Denver hotel room. Police and fire officials found a pound of sodium cyanide in crystal form, inside the man’s room.

Saleman Abdirahman Dirie was staying at the Burnsley Hotel, which is only a few blocks from the State Capitol.

The FBI was quick to announce that there was “no connection” to terrorism. This, despite the fact that a Muslim man was found with a enough crystallized cyanide to kill at least hundreds of people, just two weeks before the Democratic National Convention is to be held in that city, but the FBI decided it is not related to terrorism.

Are we supposed to believe that the one pound of crystallized cyanide was for his own personal use? Or perhaps, the luxurious Burnsley Hotel simply has a tremendous rodent problem of which we are not aware?

While the lack of response by our own government, combined with the lack of coverage by the mainstream press to this event may seem absurd, it is standard operating procedure for both.

-The July 2006 deadly attack by a Muslim gunman upon the Seattle Jewish Federation was a classic act of Islamic terrorism. Naveed Afzal Haq forced his way into the Jewish Federation building and shot six people, killing one. He attacked only women, one of whom was pregnant. Once surrounded by a SWAT team, this coward surrendered.

Jewish Federation employee Marla Meislin Dietrich told reporters that as Haq walked the halls firing, he shouted: “I’m Muslim-American” and “I’m angry at Israel.” It should be noted that Haq’s father is a founder of a Seattle area mosque.

While this was clearly an act of terrorism, the authorities refused to classify it as such. Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels instead said: “This is a crime of hate.” Seattle’s FBI counter terrorism chief David Gomez characterized the attack by saying Haq was: “acting out antagonism toward this particular organization.”

Almost laughable was the announcement of Seattle Police Chief Gil Kerlikowske, when he told reporters: “We are protecting mosques because there is always concern about retaliatory activity.”

How many mosques have been attacked by Jews?...I’m guessing none because if such an act ever occurred, the networks would never stop talking about it. Chief Kerlikowske’s politically correct comment was an obvious attempt to equate unprovoked violence with a Jew’s or Christian’s justifiable need for self-defense.

-In March 2006, a young Muslim man named Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar rented an SUV and drove it into a crowd of students at the University of North Carolina. The Iranian native told police that he decided to carry out the attack due to “the treatment of Muslims around the world.” The attack left nine people injured.

At his arraignment, he told the Judge that he was “thankful for the opportunity to spread the will of Allah.”

Despite lively student protests, UNC Chancellor James Moeser, as well as the press refused to characterize the attack as terrorism.

Taheri-azar recently pleaded guilty to nine counts of attempted murder.

-In October, 2005, a 21 year old Muslim student attending the University of Oklahoma accidentally exploded his backpack bomb outside of a sold-out football game at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. According to eyewitness accounts, Joel Henry Hinrichs was sitting on a park bench about 100 yards from the stadium fidgeting with his backpack, when the
bomb detonated. He was apparently arming the bomb which was to be carried into the stadium crowded with 84,000 fans.

Hinrichs attended a local mosque with his Pakistani roommate. Police searched their apartment and discovered it to be filled with bomb-making materials as well as anti-Semitic, anti-American Islamic literature. Though the FBI would claim that Hinrichs was simply a “troubled” young man without any connection to terrorist organizations.

Oklahoma FBI agent Salvador Hernandez said that Hinrichs had simply decided to commit suicide “near a packed football stadium using an explosive attached to his body.” Despite the government white washing, it is obvious that Hinrichs simply made a mistake and prematurely discharged his bomb. If he had successfully armed the device and entered
the stadium, many people would have been killed and more seriously wounded.

-On July 4, 2002, Egyptian national Hesham Mohamed Hadayet walked into Los Angeles International Airport and shot and killed El Al stewardess Vicky Chen and L.A. resident Yaakev Aminov. Hadayet, and also stabbed an El Al security guard (Haim Safir), who in turn fatally shot the terrorist.

El Al being the official Israeli airline, the nature of this attack was correctly described...at least by the Israelis.

Israeli L.A. consul general Yuval Rotem said: “The way [the attack] was conducted is very much similar to previous attacks throughout the years at El Al counters. Therefore, unfortunately, given this history, we presume that it may and would appear to be a terrorist attack.”

Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister Shimon Peres said: “The terrorists deliberately chose the Fourth of July to carry out their crime on the soil of the United States.”

In stark contrast, FBI spokesman Matt McLaughlin told reporters: “There is no indication of any terrorism connection in this matter.” Los Angeles Mayor James Hahn said: It appears this was an isolated incident.”

All of the aforementioned terrorist attacks disappeared from the nation’s newsrooms, just as quickly as they appeared. Many of you have no doubt either forgotten or simply never heard of these attacks. That is exactly the effect which our government and press wants to achieve.

Even during the 2002 D.C. sniper attacks, the feds continued to play down the possibility of Muslim terrorism. The ATF even announced that they believed the sniper to be a 33 year old white-supremacist named Robert Gene Baker!

The snipers turned out to be two black Muslims (one was an illegal alien). Despite the fact that one of them admitted to targeting “as many white people” as they could kill, neither Lee Boyd Malvo, nor John Allen Muhammed was characterized as a terrorist nor even charged with a hate crime. The pair killed 20 innocent people before their reign of terror
ended.

It is clear that our political leaders still do not understand the threat posed by the radical Muslim world. Our politicians and law enforcement officials seem to believe that the policy of appeasement will work with murderers. They are mistaken and if we do not wake them up to this fact...We will have no nation left to defend!

There are currently more than 300,000 Muslims living in the Dearborn, MI area. There is also a large population of converted Muslims inside this nation’s prison system. The potential for recruitment for terrorist attacks within the United States, is overwhelming.

While it is certainly true that most Muslims will never commit an act of terrorism, we cannot ignore the terror which has been occurring before our very eyes. We cannot afford to sit back and watch our government allow our citizens to be murdered. We must demand action now!

We can do very little about the cover-ups taking place inside this nation’s newsrooms. It is apparent that the left-wing subversives sitting behind network anchor desks will only stop covering for Muslim murderers, when it is their own heads which are sawed from their bodies. However, we can direct our politicians to defend this nation...Remember, they work for us, not the other way around! Let us take to the streets in peaceful (though loud) protest, let us fill Congressional offices, and let us cast our votes next year.

Let those on the left remain suicidal, those of us who have not been intellectually castrated will shout Islamic terrorism every time we see it!

If we lack the courage to name our enemy or to even recognize their violent acts…How can we expect to keep this country safe?

Police refuse to charge Columbia professor with hate crime after alleged attack on co-worker

On Monday, New York City police arrested Lionel McIntyre, 59, an architecture professor at Columbia University, for punching a woman in the face, and slapping another man. The alleged attack took place the previous Friday night at Toast bar in Harlem.

The woman, Camille Davis, who also works at Columbia University was left with a heavily bruised face, after taking what witnesses described as a closed-fisted punch in the face from McIntyre.

Bar employee Richie Velez told the New York Post: "The punch was so loud, the kitchen workers in the back heard it over all the noise. I was on my way over when he punched Camille and she fell on top of me."

Waiter, Rob Dalton said: "It was a real sucker punch. Camille's a great lady, always nice to everybody, and doesn't deserve anything like this."

McIntyre, who is black was having an angry discussion about racial issues and in particular about so-called “white privilege,” with both of his alleged victims, who are white.

The man who McIntyre allegedly attacked, only wishes to be identified by his first name, Shannon, told the Post: "He knocked the glasses right off my face. The punch came out of nowhere. Mac was talking to us about white privilege and what I was doing about it -- apparently I wasn't doing enough."

McIntyre reportedly had an argument with Davis a few weeks earlier over race. He has been charged with assault and was released without bail.

McIntyre told the Post that it was “a very unfortunate event."

The following is an excerpt from McIntyre’s bio on Columbia University’s website:

“From the mid-1960s to the mid-1970s, Professor McIntyre worked in civil rights and labor organizing in the deep South. His international experience began with travel abroad in 1972 as co-liaison for the first "People to People Friendship Delegation" to the People's Republic of China and conducted a subsequent study tour in 1979. Other experiences in the international community have included planning studios in Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, and South Africa. He also served as director of planning for the Harlem Urban Development Corporation from 1989 to 1994 and advisor to the president of Columbia University on community development and the Empowerment Zone. He created the organizational structure for the preparation of the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone (EZ) application and co-authored the strategic plan for Harlem's EZ.”

*Reporter’s note: This case seems to represent yet another example of the double-standard being applied across the country in relation to so-called hate crimes. By all accounts, McIntyre’s alleged assault was a completely unprovoked attack, brought on by his own stated anger against white people.

Is it such a leap to think that if the race of the attacker and victims were reversed, that law enforcement would at least be considering hate crimes charges?

While I do not personally agree with so-called hate crimes laws, if they are to be applied, then they should be applied equally.

Alleged Fort Hood shooter had Jihad message on his business cards

It has now come to light that the man accused of murdering 13 people and wounding 30 others in last week’s shooting spree at Fort Hood, Maj. Nidal Hasan, had business cards on which he proclaimed to be a “Soldier of Allah.”

The cards were found in Hasan’s apartment and while listing his professional qualifications as a psychiatrist and contact information, the cards contain a line reading: "SoA(SWT)."

Experts claim that the line is common shorthand among radical Muslims for “Soldier of Allah,” and "Subhanahu Wa Ta'all," which means "glory to God."

This latest discovery comes on the heels of claims which Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-MI) leveled against the Obama White House for the President’s handling, or continued mishandling of the situation.

On Tuesday, Rep. Hoekstra said that the Obama administration is still delaying information to Congress on the terrorist attack, raising suspicions that the White House is hiding facts about the case.

Hoekstra told Fox News: "When they withhold information, you always start asking questions. That's what raises red flags. What do they know that they don't want us to know?"

The Congressman continued: "It is political correctness that is making it unable for us to identify the real threat of homegrown terrorism.”

He ended the interview with the chilling warning: "we have similar Hasans" in the United States.

In April 2008, the Defense Department reported that there were 3,409 Muslims on active duty. However, military officials now claim the actual number of Muslim soldiers could be much higher.

World Tribune recently quoted an anonymous source from within the Pentagon as saying: "We believe there are many more Muslims who when recruited did not list their religion. Some of these people simply wanted to avoid harassment; others might have had a sinister agenda."

According to a 2009 Pew Research Center report, there are currently 2.5 million Muslims living in the U.S., with at least 1,209 mosques across the country.

There are also more than 350,000 members of the U.S. prison population who identify themselves as Muslims.

According to the New York Times, in 2005 alone, nearly 96,000 people from Muslim nations became permanent legal U.S. residents.

With all of his appeals now exhausted and Gov. Tim Kaine (D-VA) refusing to intervene, convicted D.C. sniper John Allen Muhammad will be executed at 9:00 p.m. tonight at the Greensville Correctional Center in Jarrat, VA.

In August 2009, the U.S. 4th Circuit Court of Appeals denied Muhammad’s final appeal in his conviction and sentencing for his role in the 2002 DC area shooting spree. Among his many victims, one was a 13-year-old boy who was walking to school.

While Muhammad’s life is about to come to an end, his willing accomplice Lee Boyd Malvo, who admitted to targeting “as many white people” as they could kill, will never see the inside of a death chamber.

The decision by a Chesapeake, Va. jury just two days before Christmas 2003, to spare the life of convicted murderer Lee Malvo proved to be perfect timing for the defense.

Undoubtedly, had the sentencing phase taken place after Christmas, Malvo too, would now be awaiting his much deserved date with the executioner.

Had Judge Jane Marum Roush sequestered the jury, thus not allowing their heartstrings to be influenced by all of the sights and sounds of the season, the families of those gunned down by that savage killer would now be sleeping a little easier. It is standard practice in a high-profile case, to isolate the jury and it certainly was warranted in this important case.

Many of the victims' families expressed disappointment in the jury, the judge however deserved just as much criticism. As this case wound down and the Christmas holiday neared, Judge Roush should have isolated that jury.

Malvo and Muhammad allegedly committed nearly 20 murders throughout Virginia, Maryland, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Arizona, and Washington D.C. Malvo has never expressed any remorse for his actions, he in fact laughed when he told police officers how he chose his unwitting victims and how much damage the Bushmaster rifle he used caused to their bodies. Malvo does not deserve sympathy, he, in fact, deserves the same fate he gave to his victims.

One of the victims was Lori Ann Lewis-Rivera, who was shot to death by Malvo while standing outside of a Kensington, MD gas station. Her mother, Marion Lewis said of Malvo’s sentence: "I'm very disappointed in the American justice system. Our society has now been sentenced to the responsibility of seeing to this man's health and welfare for the next 30 or 40 years, and that's unconscionable."

Paul LaRuffa of Clinton, Md. survived an attack from Malvo and Muhammad. He spoke with reporters immediately following the jury's decision and said: "There were two people who did the ultimate crime. One got the ultimate penalty and one didn't. I ask you why?"

Could it be the "made for TV” Christmas specials, the lights, the trees, the carols, the ever-present Salvation Army bell ringers?…All of those things contribute to filling our hearts with the "Christmas spirit". That is the time of year which we tend to take stock of ourselves, and of how perhaps we should atone for our indiscretions. I have no doubt that the impending holiday and the feeling of forgiveness that many of us feel during the twelfth month of the year, had a great influence on that jury's decision.

By sentencing Malvo to life, the jury may have made it easier on themselves to settle in for a long winter's slumber and enjoy the holiday with their loved ones. However, it no doubt made an already tough time for the victims' families and the few survivors of Malvo's vicious attacks even worse. These people have to live with the knowledge that Malvo's parents can still speak to their son, while their innocent children, parents, siblings, and friends lie dead.

They must also live with the knowledge that as long as this monster is alive, there is a chance that he could be released. It is not out of the realm of possibility that in 15 or 20 years, with the right governor, Malvo could walk out of prison.

Since Virginia only allows their governors to serve one term, there would be no concern of voter backlash for a very liberal governor to release Malvo.

While it may seem implausible now, there is precedent for such an irresponsible decision.

Though she received a life sentence, Manson family member and attempted presidential assassin Lynnette “Squeaky” Fromme was recently released from prison, after spending 34 years behind bars. At the time of her sentencing, no one could imagine a scenario in which she would leave prison alive either.

One day, when Lee Boyd Malvo is in his 40’s and his crime spree has been long since forgotten by the public, he will undoubtedly place all the blame for the murders he committed squarely upon the shoulders of his dead accomplice, and claim that he is no longer the confused and angry young man he was in the fall of 2002.

Illegal alien arrested for raping 8-year-old boy

On Wednesday, police in Brewster, New York arrested a 24-year-old illegal alien for molesting an 8-year-old boy.

The abuse was discovered during an October 30 medical exam by the boy’s pediatrician. The little boy told his doctor that Mendez-Depaz was responsible.

Nelson Mendez-Depaz has been charged with first-degree sexual abuse, and is being held in the Putnam County Jail without bail. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement has also placed a retainer on the suspect.

The following facts help illustrate the growing epidemic of child molestation being committed by illegal aliens:

-Deborah Schurman-Kauflin Ph.D. of the Violent Crimes Institute reports that the U.S. illegal alien population includes at least 240,000 sex offenders. Based on various studies, it is estimated that they will commit 130,909 sex crimes annually.

-63 percent of the sex crimes committed by illegal aliens, were done so by previously deported criminals.

-Between 2003-2008, Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, through Operation Predator, arrested 11,600 illegal aliens for crimes including child pornography, child sex tourism, human smuggling and trafficking of minors, and child molestation and rape.
