2011 NFL Schedule: 3 Games To Avoid Watching at All Costs

While the NFL is indeed king of the United States sports world, the NFL schedule will sometimes feature a few games every now and then that are so boring they will make you cry.

It’s not the leagues fault, and it’s certainly not the teams’ fault that they are boring. the matchups are simply that; matchups.

They may just feature two teams that aren’t so good, or two teams with not a lot of star power and charisma about them.

It’s okay, it happens, but still as an NFL fan you may just want to end up avoiding watching these games all together.

Check out these three games, and make sure you check out when you see them on:

Week 1: Titans vs. Jaguars, EverBank Field, 1:00 PM EST, CBS

Unless you are a die-hard fan of one of these teams, I suggest this is a matchup that you steer far away from.

Matt Hasselbeck will most likely be leading the Titans in week one, and David Garrard for the Jaguars. A battle of two washed up quarterbacks doesn’t seem too fun to me. Also consider the fact that Chris Johnson may still be holding out on Tennessee, and that gives you absolutely no reason to watch. both rookie quarterbacks you’d want to watch will be holing clipboards in week one, as they should.

Week 8: Redskins vs. Bills, Rogers Centre, 4:05 PM EST, FOX

If you’re into two teams beating each other up to see who will end up being worse when all is said and done, than this is your game.

If you’re into sloppy defense, offenses that are decent at best, and field goals, than this will be your game.

Everybody else, just don’t watch.

Week 15: Steelers vs. 49ers, Candlestick Park, 8:30 PM, ESPN

While this game is on Monday Night Football, thus forcing you to watch it due to the fact that there will be nothing else on, it is easily the worst MNF game in the bunch.

The Steelers are going to be the Steelers, which means they will be one of the AFC’s best teams, and play some very nasty defense. the 49ers on the other hand will most likely struggle, and I cringe to think about Alex Smith going against the Steelers defense. This has all the makings of a blowout.
