The Olympic gold medal winner and one-time professional boxing phenom, who grew up in a Norfolk housing project has had another run-in with the law. On Friday, in a Chesapeake courtroom, Whitaker pleaded guilty to driving without a license, and received a fine of $250.

Whitaker, who won a gold medal at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, and was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2007, has repeatedly found himself on the wrong side of the law since 1999, when he pleaded guilty to DUI.
