Security Firm ArtSec Launches Website and Server Migration Service

As part of its new service, ArtSec will upgrade customers web apps like Joomla

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – Security provider ArtSec Group announced on Friday that it has launched a new website and server migration service to provide businesses and individuals with a simple way to move a website from one server to another.

This announcement comes a month after ArtSec launched a hacked website clean-up service for businesses. ArtSec offers web application code review and various tests to ensure a website or blog is secure as well as assist with payment gateway integration and customer data privacy compliance.

ArtSec says its new service will ensure a smooth migration for all types of Unix-like servers including Linux and FreeBSD.

According to the press release, ArtSec can transfer a website from shared hosting to a virtual private server or to a dedicated server. ArtSec can also migrate all the websites on a VPS or dedicated server to another server. 

With this new service, ArtSec will handle all aspects of the migration including backup, restore, reconfiguration and DNS changes. the migration service also provides the opportunity for clients to upgrade their web server software and web applications. 

“as online businesses grow and expand, many website owners are discovering they need to move to bigger servers to better cope with demand,” ArtSec said in a statement. “Our migration service helps web site owners make that move with the minimum of anxiety or stress.”

ArtSec says it will also handle the email migration process as well, including any existing mailboxes and any forwarders, auto-responders and aliases.

In addition to this new service, ArtSec offers publishing services and publicity services, web design and development, business continuity, as well as server management and remote administration.
