Police need help finding kidnapped VA toddler

On Thursday, VA State Police issued an Amber Alert after two-year-old Aveion Malik Lewis was kidnapped from his family’s Roanoke apartment during a home invasion robbery.

Around 5:00 p.m., Thursday afternoon, three assailants entered through the back door of the residence and attacked the boy’s stepfather, striking him unconscious. When he awoke, little Aveion was missing and his 4-year-old daughter had been tied up.

The kidnappers left a ransom note, demanding $10,000.

The VA State Police issued the following descriptions of Aveion’s abductors:

ABDUCTOR 1:
Black male, 6 feet 02 inches tall. Wearing black hoodie shirt, black puffy fur collar jacket, black do rag. Dark complexion, stocky build, full beard, and in his late twenties.

ABDUCTOR 2:
Black male, 5 feet 11 inches tall. Dreadlocks hair, wearing Red baseball cap. Light complexion, muscular upper body, in his late twenties.

ABDUCTOR 3:
Black male, 5 feet 11 inches, tall. Light complexion with no facial hair. 23 or 24 years old.

They may be traveling in a white, 1990s Chevy Blazer.

Aveion was last seen wearing yellow Spongebob Squarepants footie pajamas.
