How many drinks does it take to be over the legal limit?

In Virginia, as in most states, a Blood Alcohol Level of .08 or higher is considered over the legal limit to drive. Of course, the number of drinks it takes to reach that limit varies by individual.

However, one thing to remember is that one beer, or three-ounce glass of wine, or one shot (one-ounce) of hard liquorâ€"all contain the same amount alcohol.
