Illegal aliens charged with oceanfront abduction, rape

On Wednesday, Chesapeake Police arrested Carlos Hernandez, 24, and Santiago Hernandez, 22, both were wanted for a kidnapping and rape that began at the Virginia Beach oceanfront.

The two illegal aliens allegedly abducted a woman at knife point as she walked to her car in the 2100 block of Pacific Avenue.

According to police, the suspects forced the woman into their SUV and took her to another to location, where she was sexually assaulted. They then drove to a convenience store, where the victim escaped and called police.

Hernandez and Jimenez are both charged with conspiracy to commit abduction, conspiracy to commit rape, abduction with intent to defile and rape. One of the suspects also faces burglary charges in Chesapeake.

The illegal aliens are being held in the Virginia Beach Correctional Center without bond. An Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer has been issued.
