York County residents beware...motorist attacked Thursday night

Around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, a woman pulled over on Surrender Road, near Cook Road in York County, after experiencing car trouble. While she was outside of her car, two men approached her in another car and asked if she needed their help. However, they quickly attacked and robbed her.

The victim was hit in the head, and her assailants kicked her as she lay on the ground. When she got back to her feet, the men were driving away.

Her purse was stolen in the assault.

According to the York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office, the woman could not provide a description of her attackers.
